There’s lots to do and see in the town of Dingle all year around. Here’s what we recommend…

1. Enjoy the view!

There’s plenty in the way of spectacular sights to see on the Dingle peninsula. Enjoy on two legs or four, by bike, car or bus…


2. Walking

Dingle is fantastic place to walk and hike around the area. With it’s spectacular mountains and beautiful coastline, you can be sure to enjoy exploring the area by foot. There are a variety of walks available, from more strenuous walks to gentle slopes, cliff and beach walks to suit every level of fitness. The Dingle Way and the Kerry Way are long distance trails that walkers can enjoy. These internationally recognized routes bring walkers through villages, towns and wild scenery taking in the whole area.
3. Golfing
The Dingle peninsula hosts two wonderful golf courses to be experienced. Against the backdrop of spectacular scenery, there is an 18 hole and 9 hole course, as well as a pitch and putt to sharpen up your skills. Experience playing at the most westerly golf course in Europe, a real treat for any golfer.

4. Get in the water

There are many different water and marine activities to be enjoyed in the region:

5. Visit the Islands

Ferries to the Blasket Islands run during the summer months, weather permitting, from Dingle and Dunquin.
